The SWAZI Everest Merino Shirt is a heavyweight technical base layer designed to provide dependable warmth in freezing, cold and dry outdoor conditions.

Made from 220gsm Nuyarn® Merino, it combines the natural comfort, breathability and odour resistance of merino wool with improved thermal retention, durability, stretch and wind resistance.

An extra-long cut keeps the core covered and helps prevent the shirt riding up when bending, reaching or carrying a pack. Wear it directly against the skin or beneath additional insulating and weatherproof layers.

Heavyweight Nuyarn® Merino

Nuyarn® technology enhances the natural performance of merino wool. According to SWAZI, it provides greater warmth, stretch, durability and wind resistance than conventional merino while remaining soft enough for next-to-skin use.

The fabric moves moisture away from the body and helps regulate temperature during both active and stationary periods. It continues to provide useful insulation when damp.

Built for Cold Conditions

The Everest is designed for conditions where a lighter merino layer may not provide enough warmth. Its 220gsm construction delivers increased insulation without the bulk of a traditional heavy fleece.

Natural odour resistance makes it suitable for long outdoor days and multi-day trips where regular washing may not be practical.

Extended Coverage

The extra-long body helps keep the lower back and core covered when bending, climbing or carrying equipment. It also reduces the chance of the shirt pulling free from trousers beneath other layers.

Wear it beneath a fleece, insulated jacket or waterproof shell when additional warmth and weather protection are required.
