Le Chameau Rubber Spray is a silicone care spray specially formulated to nourish and protect Le Chameau natural rubber Wellington boots.
Regular application helps maintain the rubber’s suppleness and flexibility, reducing the risk of premature drying or cracking. It also removes the harmless white bloom that can naturally appear on premium rubber, helping restore the boots’ original finish.
1. Clean the boots
Remove mud and dirt using clean water and a soft brush or cloth. Allow the boots to dry naturally away from direct sunlight and heat.
2. Apply the spray
Hold the can approximately 30cm away and spray evenly across the clean exterior rubber.
3. Buff the rubber
Use a clean, soft microfibre cloth to work the spray into the rubber and restore its finish.
What is rubber bloom?
Rubber bloom is a harmless white, powdery coating that can naturally appear on premium rubber. It is not mould or a product fault and does not affect the boots’ waterproofing or durability. Apply Le Chameau Rubber Spray and buff with a soft cloth to restore the finish.
How often should I apply the spray?
Apply the spray regularly and whenever the rubber begins to look dry or develops a white bloom. Cleaning and conditioning the boots after frequent wear will help keep the rubber in good condition.
Does the spray clean muddy boots?
No. Remove mud and dirt with clean water before applying the spray. The product is intended to condition and protect clean exterior rubber.
Can it be used inside the boots?
No. Apply it only to the exterior rubber and avoid spraying the lining, insoles or other internal areas.
