The HOGGS OF FIFE Eden Technical Tweed Gilet is a refined country layer combining pure wool herringbone tweed with practical features for outdoor and everyday wear.
Made from substantial 310gsm wool, it provides natural warmth around the body while leaving the arms unrestricted. A PFAS-free water-repellent treatment helps the tweed resist light rain and moisture.
Magnetic handwarmer pockets, a secure internal pocket and rear waist adjusters add everyday practicality, while the Bracken and Blackberry check creates a distinctive country appearance.
The Eden is made from 310gsm pure wool tweed with a traditional herringbone weave.
This substantial fabric provides natural warmth, structure and the textured appearance associated with classic British country clothing.
A Teflon EcoElite PFAS-free water-repellent finish helps light rain and moisture bead away from the wool surface.
The gilet is suitable for dry and changeable conditions but does not contain the waterproof drop liner found in the matching Eden Field Coat.
Two lower handwarmer pockets provide a comfortable place for cold hands and convenient storage for everyday essentials.
Magnetic closures keep the pocket flaps neatly positioned. The flaps can also be tucked inside to create a cleaner jetted-pocket appearance.
A zipped internal pocket provides a secure place for a phone, keys or other valuables.
The branded polyester jacquard lining gives the interior a smooth, refined finish that allows the gilet to layer comfortably over shirts and knitwear.
Tabs at the back waist allow the fit to be refined for a more shaped or relaxed silhouette.
Side vents help the gilet move naturally, while the scooped back hem provides additional coverage when sitting, walking or bending.

The outer is made from 100% wool herringbone tweed with a 310gsm fabric weight. Its branded jacquard lining is 100% polyester.
Is the Eden Technical Tweed Gilet waterproof?
No. It has a PFAS-free water-repellent finish for protection against light moisture, but it does not contain a waterproof membrane.
Is the gilet warm?
Yes. The substantial pure-wool outer provides natural core warmth while the sleeveless design preserves freedom of movement.
How many pockets does it have?
It has three pockets: two lower handwarmer pockets and one secure internal zipped pocket.
How do the magnetic pockets work?
