Mens Body Measurement Guide

Womens Body Measurement Guide

All Seeland’s Clothes are labeled with European size codes, so don’t be shocked to think that we have sent the wrong size by what the label says.

If you order a jacket from us and want a Medium or 40″ chest, then the label in the Jacket and the Tags will be marked 50.  This stands for C50 which is the metric equivalent of a 40 inch chest.  Trousers  also use Metric codes relating to the waist and leg.  So a 50 or C50 metric size for a trouser will be 34″ waist and 32″ inside leg. Confused? Don’t be, as we convert them all for you on our Seeland online store or in the shop and show only the UK imperial sizes for you.

In our store, for Seeland we use this rule of thumb:

Seeland Jackets, on the whole tend to be bigger than expected, but also remember that all Seeland Jackets have a draw cord at the waist (as in the picture above) and is intended to be used to nip in the waist slightly, allowing for a more fitted look whatever layers you have on underneath

Seeland Trousers, on the whole tend to be slimmer cut.  So we would recommend if you have never purchased Seeland trousers before, to get the next size up.  We offer free delivery and free returns, so if they are not perfect, we will always exchange where possible without any additional cost to you for the first exchange.

Seeland Wellingtons are made using US Lasts (Moulds), and therefore are marked with USA, EU, and UK Sizes.  UK and US sizes are different even though both countries use Imperial Measurements.
