The Barbour Ashby Wax Jacket in Navy combines traditional waxed-cotton protection with a smart, contemporary silhouette. Constructed from Barbour’s medium-weight 6oz Sylkoil waxed cotton, it has a soft matte finish and helps protect against showers and cold winds.

Inspired by the classic Bedale, the Ashby has a slightly longer, more tailored shape while retaining room for everyday layers. It can also accommodate a compatible Barbour zip-in liner and detachable hood, both available separately.

Barbour’s 6oz Sylkoil waxed cotton provides useful protection during changeable weather while developing additional character through regular wear. A two-way zip, stud-fastening storm placket and corduroy collar with throat strap provide additional coverage from wind and showers.

The Ashby has a streamlined silhouette that is slightly more tailored and longer than the traditional Bedale. Its regular fit still leaves room for a shirt, jumper or lightweight fleece, while the two-way zip provides greater comfort when walking, driving or sitting.

For colder or wetter conditions, a compatible Barbour liner can be zipped inside and a waxed-cotton hood attached to concealed collar studs. Both accessories are sold separately.

Two angled handwarmer pockets provide comfort in colder weather, while the larger bellows pockets and internal patch pocket offer useful everyday storage. Original Classic Tartan lining and tonal Barbour embroidery complete the jacket’s traditional finish.
