The Deerhunter Climate Trousers are built for active days when temperature and effort can change quickly. Their stretch ripstop fabric supports confident movement, while 37.5® Technology helps manage heat and moisture for greater comfort during stalking, shooting, walking and practical countryside work.
37.5® Technology uses active mineral particles permanently embedded within the fabric. These particles help move moisture away while it is still vapour and support a comfortable temperature next to the body, which is valuable when a route alternates between steep movement and longer stationary periods.
The ripstop construction is durable yet flexible, and pre-shaped knees make walking, crouching and climbing feel less restrictive. An elasticated rear waistband improves comfort, while hook-and-loop ankle straps keep the lower legs neat around boots and reduce loose fabric near vegetation.
Two open front pockets handle everyday items. The two pleated thigh pockets offer more capacity with concealed zip closures, supported by a dedicated knife pocket and a secure rear pocket. The outer treatment repels light showers and damp vegetation, but it should not be confused with fully waterproof membrane protection.
The trousers use 100% polyester ripstop fabric bonded with tricot. Follow the garment label, close all fastenings before washing and avoid fabric softener. Use a suitable technical reproofing product when moisture no longer beads on the surface.
Are the Climate Trousers waterproof?
No. BIONIC FINISH® ECO provides water repellency for light moisture, but the trousers do not contain a waterproof membrane.
What is 37.5® Technology?
It uses embedded active particles to help release heat and moisture vapour before perspiration becomes liquid.
Do the trousers stretch?
Yes. The ripstop fabric has stretch for easier walking, kneeling and climbing.
How many pockets do they have?
They include two front pockets, two zipped thigh pockets, a knife pocket and one concealed-zipped rear pocket.
Can the lower legs be adjusted?
Yes. Hook-and-loop ankle straps let you secure the fabric neatly around outdoor boots.
